Roman is 7 mOnTHs OLd!!

My baby boy is growing up right before my eyes!:(

I love it and hate it at the same time. Is that possible??

* * *

Just a couple changes from his 6 month update- -

7 Months:

* Sitting up well but will still throw himself back on occasion

(Lovin' the Boppy pillow)

* Has decided he likes his fruits and veggies....with the exception of peas & green beans

* Rolling all over the place

*Gets up on his hands and knees occasionally

* His favorite sound right now is "Ba ba ba ba ba" and he repeats it frequently

* Has started a lovely habit of screaming. . . .which is the only thing he's done in 7 months that I can truly say is NOT CUTE!

* Has just his 2 bottom teeth and no others breaking through at this time

* Grabs at everything!

* He is definitely a "momma's boy"

and is possibly, just slightly, a little spoiled :)

There is just NOTHING more sweet than my sleeping Roman. :)

Busted!?

Roman was playing on his mat while I was folding laundry one evening and when I went into his room to check on him this is what I found. . . .

And no he wasn't crying. . . . . he was just intently looking at all the colors on his mat. . . . very close-up.:)

Yuuuuummmmy!!

WARNING!- - this baby comes with lots of drool.

. . . . . but lots of adorable smiles too. :)

Daddy's little Bears fan!

Roman loves this food net thing but so far, the only food I can think to put in it is a banana.

Any suggestions??

A Day at the Aquarium- -

Bryce & I took Roman to the Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy and he really liked it!

I figured he would since he likes shiny moving objects.:)

Bryce and I enjoyed it as well. It was a fun family outing.

You can pet the stingrays but we figured Romes was a little too young.

He did watch them swim around though.:)

As tall as the smallest penguin. How cute!

Side note: Can anyone else keep shoes on their 6 month old? Roman kicks them off within 5 minutes of them being put on. So that explains the baby with no shoes.:)

SIX months old!!

Roman had his six month check-up last week and his doctor said he's doing great. Wahoo!

Here are his Stats:

Weight: 18 lb. 9.5 oz (75th %)

Height: 27 3/4 in. (90th %)

Head Circumference: 45.6 cm (90th %)

* * *

I was a little surprised about his weight. He is such a little chunk!

Roman at 6 months:

* Can sit-up without support for a short period

* Rolls from front to back and back to front but doesn't too often

* Still loves the Jumperoo and will jump for 30-45 minutes

* Has his two bottom teeth popping through

* LOVES his toes and puts them in his mouth

* Can pick-up his paci and put it back in his mouth

* Likes to flirt with the ladies :)

* Loves shiny objects

* Will "throw" himself in the direction he wants to go while he's being held

* Takes 2 short naps and one longer nap during the day

* Sleeps like a champ through the night

* Does not tolerate Rice cereal or baby Oatmeal (it causes him to projectile vomit)

* Basically hates all veggies. . . . .

(this aversion to food is causing his mother quite a bit of stress)

* "Eats" in his highchair now

* Likes to be out of the house and in new places

* Enjoys jamming to his Nursery Rhyme song Cds while we travel

and

* Is still the cutest thing ever!! I just want to eat him!:)

Roman also loves to stand up. He has super strong legs!

I absolutely love every day with Roman! He is so much fun! I get so excited with all his new developments. I was cheering and clapping my hands when I noticed his 1st tooth a week ago. Being a mom is indescribable!! Love it!!
