So the weekend started out with a yard sale on Saturday. . .
My friend Christelle and I organized an apartment complex yard sale that turned out pretty good. I sold just about everything except 10 or so clothing items. It was actually pretty fun being able to spend some time outside. . . . . . or so I thought. After eight hours of sun on this white body (i.e. scalp, forehead, nose, neck, and shoulders), I came away looking like a blotchy tomato.:) Apparently I missed those places with the sunscreen! Oops! Other than looking like the perfect candidate for Head & Shoulders all is well.

On Monday we were invited to a BBQ at a ward friend's house.
The hosts were very gracious and the food was excellent! It was nice to get out and do something! We have a lot of great people in our ward here who are all just trying to survive the small town life.:)
- The host Angie and her little girl Chloe (who often cries when I try to talk to her). Most kids like me and I'm not quite sure why she doesn't feel the same.:)
These are our friends Tyler &
Christelle who live in an apartment beneath us and are sadly moving this next weekend. :( We'll miss them. We've had movie nights & Sunday
BBQ's with them and asked many favors of them over this past year that we've lived here. (Can you believe it's already been a year?? Crazy!!)

Okay, this picture is a classic "couple" pose but it doesn't really portray our relationship very well. . . . . . .
Now this next picture on the other hand. . . . . . .
. . . . . . Now that's more like it! :)
(I thought this was a great candid. Bryce was trying to grab my hand so we could do an "engagement pose" and I was having none of it!)

Anyway- - after the BBQ that evening we, along with 2 other couples, went to see Night at the Museum 2, which was really good by the way! It was even better than the first one.

So all in all a great weekend!
