Colorado Camping Trip

A couple weeks ago I drove to Colorado to go camping with my family. And when I say "camping" I mean sleeping in a camp trailer, taking showers, and peeing in a real toilet.:) That's my kind of camping.....actually that's the ONLY kind of camping I do. I did this same camping trip with my parents last year so this year we decided to spice things up by bringing along my niece and nephew! They were so much fun and had such a blast!!

Recipe for a fun camping trip:
One day- fishing!

One afternoon- painting rocks for the rock garden.

* * *
Three nights- sitting around the camp fire
&
A dash of Aunt Brittany trying to sing songs and make-up games.:)
* * *

A lot- of family bonding time.

And....
as many messy s'mores as you can handle.:)

Until next year. . . . .

Gotta Love Friends!

Each time I head to Utah to see family I try to fit as much in as possible.
This last trip included a little reunion with college roommates, a wedding reception in Moab and lunch with a friend from Omaha! I love seeing & visiting with friends that I rarely get to see!!

I met two of my SUU college roommates Sarah & Chelsea at Cheesecake Factory in Salt Lake City for a delicious lunch. These girls are and always will be some of my best friends! We have a lot of great memories from our college days in Cedar City.:) Now we're "all grown-up", living in different cities, with families of our own.

This is Sarah and her adorable family-- Scott, Lawson, and another baby boy on the way. She is an adorable little pregnant woman!
(I should have gotten a picture of her baby bump- so cute!)

My next stop was a wedding reception in Moab. Devan is another one of my best friends from my days at SUU and I just had to wish him a big "CONGRATULATIONS!" on his recent marriage! We have stayed in contact but haven't seen each other for about 3 1/2 years so it was great to see him and meet his beautiful new bride! They are a gorgeous couple and I'm so happy for them!

And a last minute plan was a stop in Salt Lake on my way back to Lovelock to have lunch with Keri, a great friend I made in Omaha during Bryce & I's last year there. Her husband graduated from dental school in Omaha this last May and they made they're way back to Utah so I was super excited to see her!

Being able to see and visit with these friends makes me realize how grateful I am for their friendships! I have made a lot of really great friends in the different "chapters" of my life thus far! I'm very blessed to have met all of them.
It also makes me very thankful for technology (i.e. texting, facebook,e-mail & blogging) so that I can stay in touch with all of you!:)
LOVE YA!!!!

-Project Organize-

Bryce laughs at how excited I get to organize any & EVERYTHING.
So it was no surprise to him that while we're strolling the ailes of Wal-Mart last Saturday I say, "You know what I wanna do tonight? Buy a big CD case, alphabetize our DVDs, and throw away the cases!" and sarcastically Bryce replies, "Sounds like FUN!":)

Well, I'll have you know, it was fun!!

Can you believe all these DVDs condensed down into one case? You can only imagine the new space it's provided in the drawer!

I didn't realize we had so many movies! And that's not even all of them. I'm going to have to buy another CD case to fit the rest and you know what that means- -

MORE ORGANIZING!!

Am I the only one out there that gets this excited about organizing?:)
