Husband has prosecutor training in Las Vegas for 5 days and lets Wife tag along!

Wife books room on the strip at the Monte Carlo.



Husband goes to training from 8 AM to 4 PM while Wife sleeps in, takes long baths in the jet-tub and reads. :)


They had never stayed in a hotel room with 2 bathrooms before! :)

Wife drags Husband to every beautiful casino display in Vegas.


Husband plays along. . . (and even enjoys himself a little).


Wife begs Husband to buy her pretty jewelry from Tiffany's . . . and Husband pretends to be broke.

So Wife says "No" to slot machines! :)

Husband & Wife spend 2 hours in the Titanic Exhibit at the Luxor.

And were convinced it's the coolest exhibit ever!!!

Husband & Wife also went to the Bodies exhibit but weren't nearly as impressed. :(

On Tuesday- Wife meets up for lunch with college friends Chelsea & Christie!

Friend Chelsea's little boy Jack made new friends that day and refers to Husband & Wife as "Bwinty & Gampa". (Husband's not quite sure how funny that really is) He,he!:)

Husband & Wife meet up for dinner that night with 3 of Husband's college friends, who they hadn't seen in 4 years, and get to meet their wives & children (some still in the womb). Wife finds out that they too belong to the world of blogging! Yay!!

Husband & Wife do lots and lots o' walking.

And run into some very interesting folk.:)

Husband & Wife get tickets to the Cirque du Soleil show "KA" at the MGM and end up sitting on the 3rd row!! Wife is completely mesmerized the entire 2 hour show!!. . . .Husband thinks show is "pretty cool", except for the parts he slept through. ;)

Wife loves any and all waterfalls, fountains, and "water shows", so of course they spend the final night in Vegas seeing each and every one of them.

In the search for free entertainment, Husband and Wife step inside. . . and fall in love with. . . the Wynn and decide it's their favorite hotel/casino in Vegas!! It even has a gigantic singing frog in it's water show!:)

So, Wife spends all week looking for "famous" people and finally it happens at the Wynn. . . . . . Husband spots Plaxico Burress doing a little shopping with his "crew" and points him out to Wife. . . who thinks "who's Pleco Burns?". After Husband laughs, he explains that Plaxico Burress is a wide receiver for the NY Giants who recently shot himself in the leg when his gun fell out of his sweat pants. . . . . Then Husband, being the prosecutor that he is, wonders if Plaxico is "violating the conditions of his bail release" by being in Las Vegas, Nevada, rather than the New York area. Hmmmmm????

Seriously?. . . . .of all the "famous" people they could have seen!

"Ahhhhhh Vegas!"

I really have no idea how old she is because for as long as I can remember she's been "39" or that's what she tells me anyway.:) Her own daughter has even passed her in age- - not sure how that happened but I've learned not to ask too many questions when it comes to a woman's age.:)

Anyway. . . my grandma faithfully checks my blog to keep up with the happenings in my life so I thought it'd give her a shout out on her birthday!

I hope you have a great birthday grandma! If I could make it to Arizona today I'd spoil you on your special day but I guess I'll have to leave that to grandpa this year.:) Love you!!

LOVE. . . . .one hundred times!

Since the upcoming holiday is in celebration of LOVE I've decided to make a list of 100 things that I love. It was fun to reflect upon myself and think of the small things in life that I'm thankful for. Discretion: This list is in no particular order. I just wrote things as they came to me.:)

1. The man I married!!! My valentine!. . . .very cheesy I know.

2. My parents. . . . .whose love is unconditional.

3. A protective, handsome, hard working older brother.

4. My "sister" Adrienne who keeps me in style & up to date on the latest.

5. 8 nieces & nephews whom I absolutely adore!

6. Grandmas & grandpas that own a very special place in my heart.

7. A mother & father in-law who couldn't be better had I "pre-ordered" them.

8. Brothers & sisters in-law (ALL of you) that enjoy spending time together & are always there for each other.

9. My needy & lazy. . . . but very cute black cat.:)

10. Childhood, high school, college, law-school & work place friends whose friendships span miles, cities and states.

11. A BFF who always makes time for me even being 6 hours away!

12. Extended family. . . . Aunts, Uncles & cousins whether seen often or not. There's just that family bond, ya know?

13. Ice cream . . . . more specifically Coldstone, DQ blizzards & mint choc. chip.

14. Cold winter night, sipping hot chocolate & snuggling up with a movie.

15. The feeling of wearing a brand new pair of jeans. . . . or any new clothes for that matter. :)

16. Window shopping for shiny, expensive jewelry. :)

17. Singing at the top of my lungs in the car & thinking I sound just like the person coming through the speakers.

18. Soaking in a bath full of bubbles while getting lost in a good book.

19. Spending too much time at the MAC counter picking out eyeshadow colors.:)

20. Walking up & down every aisle at Target & Costco.

21. The smell of my hair after it's just been colored.

22. Running a couple miles outside while jammin' to my IPod.

23. The smell of a brand new car with leather seats. :)

24. Unloading boxes and organizing my apartment right when I move in.

25. Making a big deal out of any & every holiday.

26. Good love stories. . . . in movies, books, television shows, etc.

27. An evening foot rub from my strong handed husband. :)

28. A good, honest gut laugh, with tears included.

29. When someone knows me so well they know my mood with just the word "hello" when I answer the phone.

30. The feel of cold sheets on just shaved legs.

31. The smell & pitter patter of fresh rain!

32. Picking out and giving a thoughtful/meaningful gift to someone I love.

33. When my husband "dances" to his favorite songs in the car. :)

34. To trap my husband in the car on a road trip & talk his ear off. (He has no escape.)

35. When my cat stretches up on his hind legs to "scratch" (he has no claws) on my leg when he wants a treat or to be picked up.

36. Listening to the Prophet speak during General Conference.

37. To read people's comments on my blog.- - hint, hint ;)

38. A fresh coke with added vanilla and that really good crushed ice. A rare treat for me but oh so good!

39. The feeling of having the Holy Ghost as a constant companion.

40. When I get 100% on a song playing Guitar Hero. :)

41. Gerber daisies, any & all colors.

42. The sound of a fountain whether in nature or the backyard.

43. When you're fishing & all of a sudden your fishing line jerks & bends, then you reel in your prize, take it off the hook & throw it back in. :)

44. Mom's home cookin'!

45. Good thoughtful surprises!

46. Making a list (any list) and checking it off.

47. When I hear a talk or lesson at church that was just what I needed to hear or be reminded of.

48. Sharing the Blondie dessert at Applebees with my mom. Yummy!

62. The emotions displayed on my husband's face when he found out he passed the Bar Exam.

66. Starting IVs at work- - I realize that sounds weird.

70. Watching my husband do his hair. He has this weird method that he does every single time. It makes me laugh.

71. When my mom scratches by back. She's the only one that knows how to do it right. . . . & she'll scratch as long as I want her to. :)

72. Keeping my nails cut short.

73. People who are humble and down to earth.

74. When someone shares with me their imperfections because we all have them and it makes people so much more real and relatable.

75. Being independent. . . not to say that I don't need anybody because I definitely do!

76. Receiving a really good hug when I really needed it.

78. Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints & knowing it's true!

79. Having a loving Father in Heaven who knows me individually.

82. Catching up with an old friend.

83. Moving into a new ward and feeling like family.

84. Enjoying a Tiger's blood snow cone on a hot summer day.

86. Organizing and being organized!

87. Waking up to my cat purring and trying to nuzzle under my chin. So cute!

88. Shopping for and buying baby clothes at Baby Gap. They are just so dang cute but expensive, I know!

89. Working nights as a nurse. Never thought I would but I do.

90. When my dad answers the phone when I call and says "Hello Beezer!" It reminds me that I'll always be a daddy's girl.:)

91. "Willow Tree" figurines.

92. Barbequeing on a warm summer Sunday evening after church.

93. Hearing the latest news/gossip. . . very bad habit that I'd like to break someday.:)

94. Those beautiful new black & white temple pictures! Someday when I have a house I want a huge one. (I'll start saving for it right now)

95. Laying in bed and reading with my husband.

96. Shopping/browsing online.

97. Collecting DVDs. Bryce and I have a pretty good selection. We love to watch movies!

98. Visiting our families in Utah!!!!!

99. Learning more about things I'm interested in.
