My adorable little niece turned 3 years old last week and of coarse I just had to make the 12 hour trip to Blanding to be there to celebrate such a fun event. It was worth every hour to be able to spend time with my family and two of the most adorable kids you've ever seen!!

The real "birthday girl" really wasn't too fond of the birthday crown because the combs that held it on dug into her head.:) Ouch!The picture below gives you an idea of Tenli's changing moods. . . . I love it! She's got such a cute little personality!

The Princess Birthday Party started off with yummy BBQ food. . . . .
. . . . . then the devouring of the cutest Barbie Princess cake made extra special by Gamma Laura.
Tenli watched "Gamma" work on this cake all day and at one point she said, "Gamma, is that my princess cake?". . . . ."Oh thank you so much Gamma!"* * *
Needless to say, Tenli LOVED her princess cake.
. . . .and all of her cute girlie presents.She's finally starting to like dolls, barbies and pink stuff but also still likes to do everything her brother does so it was only fitting that she get. . . . . .

Right after opening it she turned to my dad and said in a very excited voice, "Now I can go fishing with you Papa!!"
She got lots of cute stuff! My favorite part was watching her open each present and really ham it up for her audience!. . . ."Oh this is so cute!"

"Look mom!"
And after all the gifts were opened she came around to each of the 10 party attendees and gave us a hug. Aaahhhhh, how cute!

I LOVED school...but I do love living this close to family. It's great for Jaxson...I don't know what he'd do if I left them now. Probably be traumatized for life. He is obsessed with his grandma's.
Joel and Maranda came over yesterday and we went to Famous Dave's for dinner and hung out. It made me miss good old school even more. You can't beat great friends and delicious food. We got that a lot more in omaha than we do now!!! That is so much more fun that money:)
Although...signing me up for both would be nice.
I didn't forget about you...but life is insane right now. I promise to call you back when I get a minute. We have much to catch up on!!!

Oh my heck that Tenli is such a cute little girl! It looks like she had a fun birthday! How fun that you could spend it with her too! What a good aunt.
Oh and yeah after seeing the trailer to new moon I have been questioning my loyalty to edward as well! Man Jacob is looooooking goooooood!
