I realize that women have been having babies for years and years and most of them have gone without a Bumbo seat or a baby swing or a pacifier holder but it's my first baby and I feel like I need it all.:) Am I the only one that feels or has felt this way??
I realize that as I walk the aisles of Babies R Us that yes, they have stuff in there that is absolutely unnecessary but I guess I'll just have to try it all out and decide for myself what that "unnecessary stuff" is. Everyone who has had a baby has a different opinion on what is great & necessary and what is NOT but how do I know what kind of baby stuff I'm going to like or use? Well, my solution is just to get one of everything and find out for myself.:) I may just go broke in the process.....
Here is my newest baby gear.
I'm positive that both of these items are necessary. . . . . Right??I spent one morning last week putting this stroller together and figuring out how to use it to it's full capacity. When Bryce came home and saw it he said something like, "Whoa, that looks like an armored baby pusher." And my reply went something like, "Well, it'll be holding VERY precious cargo, my dear.":)

28 Weeks
My baby boy is getting bigger and so is my belly! He is moving around so much in there! I love it! There is something so amazing about feeling your baby move and kick inside you. Pregnancy really is an awesome experience! I'm sooooo happy to be able to experience it!* * *
Side note: The Second of Three Shields boys arrived last Saturday. Congratulations to Steve & Teri (Bryce's sister)!! They live in Texas so we're not sure when we're going to meet the little guy but we're excited to see pictures.

Yay! It's getting close! I'm so excited for you! You look great. And tan. :) I know the feeling of wanting to try everything. And yes everyone has to decide what's the must haves for themselves. You are very wise. I listened to people too much.

And yes, I like your thinking about just buying one of everything and seeing if you like it or not! With my experience, I found almost everything helpful in some way or another. Yea I probably could of gone without, but I'm glad I didn't have to! :-)

You look so good! The way I see it is that a lot of things may not be necessary, but they're fun and make life a whole lot easier sometimes :) And its nice to have them before the baby comes. I spent the first two weeks sending my mom and Cole out to buy stuff that I wish I'd had before. So go for it!
I've loved everything I've gotten for my babies. Maybe you can manage without most of it, but some things just make life easier! I love your stroller and you look great!
Yes, the stroller and car seat are "must haves"! It's so fun buying new stuff for your kids!
You've waited a long time, so go ahead have a great time and get everything you need or don't need!

Good choice on the Chicco we love ours. Yeah new parents always want all the new goodies for their new unborn babies. I think the biggest waste for us that I really thought we needed was a cool video monitor which we did get. We probably used it the first 8 weeks and that was about it. Ears work just fine and are way cheaper just some advice from new parent.
